The frame, engine and transmission are recognisably from a Model D, but everything else was radically altered, using traditional methods but more modern parts such as a double saddle allowing the rider to adopt a position leaning forward, a fuel tank leading on from the handsome streamlined headlamp, and, at the rear, a fairing with the racing number. The raised exhaust rounds off this specially-built model, reflecting the ingenuity driven by the passion of racing.
